These old 6 volt units can still be rebuilt. The unit on the left is a generator for a International Harvester.Remember to polarize these units when installing them on the vehicle.!
Watch out for these they might be positive ground.
The unit on the right is a inertia drive starter for a International Harvester.

Onan tractor starters can be rebuilt.These starters are sometimes hard to get parts for. If you wait and get them rebuilt you can save a bundle of money!

Briggs & Stratton domestic lawn motor starters can be rebuilt. Remember not to strike these starters with a hammer. Damage to the permanet magnet can result.
